I’ve heard that meditation and visualization can help cure problematic things within the body. Every time i try to meditate instead of visualizing what i want i visualize what i’m afraid of and what i have. Its uncontrollable. I try to calm my mind and do a self-hypnosis if you will to clear my mind completely and visualize positively but my thoughts seem to be contradictive and sparatic even during meditation. Can anyone give me any advice on how to meditate/visualize properly and positively?

Let your thoughts be like watching a parade. Let them pass by without attaching your thought to any one…..just let them go on by.

I completed some mental health nursing training and learnt that paranoia in schizophrenia is normally a protective thing. For example, people’s symptoms like hearing voices are often worse when something stressful is happening in their life. Believing someone is out to get you or something can be protective as you can the "blame" on them and focus anger towards them.

Depression is a totally separate issue. I image though that living with schizophrenia could cause a person to become depressed.

Assuming that such technology is available for sale (as it appears to be), are there any clear federal or state laws prohibiting its use against non-consenting populations, either via mass media or in public places (e.g., Wal-Mart)?
